Little Man Literacy

TK-3rd grade students will work one-on-one with Mr. T. to grow in reading, writing, social-emotional skills and SChool readiness.

Mr. T. has years of classroom experience teaching in a K-2 multiage program for 15+ years and 10 years as head teacher for Little Man’s TK program. He has spent his career giving children the foundation for the love of learning. His experience in the multiage setting has allowed him to see students through the many stages of development. In addition to his classroom teaching experience, Mr. T. is trained in both ‘Seeing Stars’ and ‘Verbalizing + Visualizing’ from the Linda-Mood Bell teaching practices. Other resources used include: DRA leveled books, Handwriting Without Tears, and an extensive children’s book collection housed in the Little Man Library.

Mr. T.’s specialty lies in truly knowing each child and their abilities and providing appropriate instruction to further their development.

Play and connection are integral pieces of the learning process at Little Man.
